Flight Night: Côte-Rôtie

Long considered the reigning king of Syrah, the vines of the Côte-Rôtie (translates to "roasted slope") truly struggle. Its pernicious winds, colloquially known as the Mistral, are so intense, they are known to tear whole vines from the ground.

The result is a narrow corridor of craggy land sheltered from the wind that yields fruit. And what fruit it is!

Join us for a brief tasting tour of the appellation in three wines.
